RS Diagnostics is proud to introduce immunohistochemistry validation kits. RS Diagnostics has gathered a range of high and low expressing positive and negative tissues specific to each antibody and placed them in a tissue microarray. Our validation kits help to eliminate the time-consuming process of searching for appropriate tissue and the costly aspect of staining numerous slides. Our stained comparison slides and documention charts simplify the documentation and correlation process. This will allow your lab to focus on what truly matters: appropriate retrival and optimization of the antibody.

Our immunohistochemical validation kits contain the following components:

1) Three multi-control slides per antibody containing six tissue cores

2) One stained and three unstained positive and negative validation
slides per antibody

3) A slide map for each slide which details the diagnosis, tissue type, and
the expected staining results for each tissue

Each positive and negative validation slide is composed of ten unique tissue cores specially selected by a Board Certified Pathologist and prepared by a licensed Histotechnician.

Step 1: Determine optimal retrieval using the multi-control slides.
                 You should follow the antibody manufacturer's recommendations for
                 retrieval, making necessary optimizations per your laboratory requirements
                 and pathologist preference.

Step 2: Once retrieval has been optimized, use the unstained slides for
               validation.

Step 3: Once validated, correlate the validated slide with the provided
               stained slide.
